Gov James McGreevey for Pres

In light of my recent discussions on presidential politics, a friend who shall remain nameless (Mark) asked “would you vote for James McGreevey if he was running for President against GW”? My answer was equally sarcastic “Nah, he’s not liberal enough for me to vote for”.

So this morning I’m catching up on my daily tech news and I follow a link to this Flash Gordon site and at that moment I had the (what now seems obvious) realization that the 80s must have really been a strange time to be an adult heterosexual male. Just look at the costumes from the Flash movie – really gay. And think about the music of the time. David Bowie – pretty out there gay, Twisted Sister – a bunch of guys naming themselves twisted sister seems pretty gay to me, and the quintessential 80s rock band Queen (do I need to say anything here).
