I am still alive
It’s been a while since I posted anything. I’ve been busy with work, life, yada yada, but most importantly anytime I post anything that can be even remotely associated with political Mark sounds off and I can’t help but try and save him from himself. So I had to take a break — nobody wants to listen to Mark and I disect the problems of the world when neither of us has much (any) ground to stand on.
Anyway I wasn’t even planning on posting tonight, but I ran across this while I was sitting at work waiting for my other machine to get its act together and well I just had to share.
If you want to decipher the latest slang, pseudo-swears and hip insults, you are going to need the help of Urban Dictionary. Uptown Magazine Be chillin’ – not illin’.
So if you’re like me and can’t understand what the kiddies are talking about these days have no fear — UrbanDictionary.com is here.
Read up and you too can be chillin and not illin’ – word.
p.s. Mark please resist the overwhelming temptation you’re going to feel to turn this post into a reason to launch into a “Why do I have to learn their language? They’re in my country, I’m white, I’m rich, and I’m republican they should learn to speak proper English.” diatribe. Bush is moving back to Texas next month and its going to sting a little bit, but the sooner you start preparing for that eventuality the easier the transition should be for you.
