Is spreading freedom the answer?
Here we are not quite one month into Bush’s second term and the rumors about invading Iran are already starting. When you listening to Bush speak it doesn’t take long before it becomes very clear that he is intent that the United States should “spread freedom” – in the form of a democratic government – throughout the Middle East. There’s a lot of speculation about where we might send our troops next. Places like Iran, Syria, and Lebanon are mentioned as possible targets.
What do you all think about the Bush administration’s foreign policy decisions so far and what’s your opinion on the US’s role in spreading freedom throughout the Middle East. I’m not trying to bait anyone into a fight. I know what I think and I’d just like to hear other points of view.
But if you still think I’m going to get all foo-man-chu on you, feel free to post anonymously if you’d like
