Turned Around

   Why do they need to ring at all. They have the vibrate mode. Today’s cell phones are so small they can just fit into your pocket. On your person or not, if the phone is not in close proximity (sp?) your not going to answer it anyway.

   The thing I love is when the phone rings the owner first looks at the people around him (1 ring) “Is that my phone?” (2 rings) “Yeah I think thats mine.” (3 rings) “I wonder who it is.” (4 rings) They look at the caller id to try and identify who it is, on the fifth ring they pick it up, and say loud enough for everyone to know they have a cell phone…”HELLO!..HEY MAN, WHATS UP. NAH JUST HANGIN’ OUT.”

   What baffles me is the people who answer their cell phones in public restrooms. This may not happen so much with men, but women do this ALL THE TIME! It makes me uncomfortable to be in a stall next to some other woman who is having a full-blown conversation while she is taking care of business. The odd thing is, though I don’t know those people and they don’t know me, it gives me “stage fright.” I just picture the caller having her (or his) phone on speaker phone. Restroom noises amplified. How nice! Not to mention the germ factor of this type of multi-tasking. Is it really necessary to include your friends in EVERYTHING you do? Maybe they could just call their friends back after they’ve washed their hands. Or maybe I’m the only one who thinks that is strange.

   What’s up with the spitting in the urinal thing? It’s kind of distracting when you’re standing next to somebody trying to concentrate on doing your thing and they start shooting loogies into the pee spittoon. I just don’t get it.

   I really like it when someone comes in and wants to talk. i mean, your just standing there minding your own business and all of a sudden from the urinal next to you…

   “WHEW!!!!! AHHHH, too much Diet Pepsi.”

   Thats really good to know. Cause, my first question was going to be.

   “Hey Fella, what brings you in here today?”
