Lewis and Man and Mythologies by G.K. Chesterton? Also, Campbell is the most famous &#039;popularizer&#039; of myth, but he has been criticized in academic/university circles for much of his research and many of his conclusions. That doesn&#039;t necessarily invalidate his thesis, but you should know his scholarly reputation is in dispute. Let me know if you need the essays or would like to discuss mythology or critical mythological interpretation further.&lt;/p&gt;
