Planes and automobiles
Today I learned that it takes about 90 minutes to replace the co-pilots chair on a Boeing 767 loaded with 257 Seattle bound passengers.
Also today I discovered that Avis charges $6.99 / gallon. So say, for example, you forgot that you didn’t pre-purchase fuel from Avis and then you returned a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix with half a tank of gas. Well that memory lapse at 8:00 EST in the morning (5:00 PST) will end up costing you an additional $87 give or take.
Clearly life holds many lessons for me. My only request is that we limit them to one a day if possible.
